Hey Cupcake!

A cheery card for a sunny day! Image is colored with Copic Markers and has been cut out with Nestabilities. This is the Labels Two set. This is a simple way to add some pizazz to your image! I sponged the edge of the image after embossing it and before taking it out of the die.

The designer paper is from Memory Box's Sugar Collection. I used various sized circle punches and pop dots to make a fun border. The brown cardstock has been edged with Fiskar's Threading Water punch.

Hint: Use your punches to take portions of designer paper to add fun touches to your cards...the possibilities are endless!!

Explore!

This card is going to be my son's birthday card this year. He's a little outdoorsman when his nose isn't stuck in a book or when he's not off on an adventure with Reader Rabbit on the computer!

I colored the image from High Hopes with my Copics. I added faux stitching and some distressing to make it a bit more masculine. I love this ribbon that I picked up at The Stamp Shoppe. I was thinking for scrapbooking school photos....so now I might need to get some more!!

The designer Paper is by Paper Loft, if I remember right!

Bright and Sunny!

With this card I am posting the last TWO of the images for the Beach Girls Collection from Inky Antics. Image colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. Lots of Circles on this one imitate the volleyball. The card base has been embossed with Cuttlebug's Circle Embossing Folder. The designer paper from WeR Memory Keepers has been faux stitched over some glittery circle punched pieces from Doodlebug's glitter paper. Finally the eyelet that holds the tag on the card.
I hope you've enjoyed taking a peek at this collection. I'd love to hear which image(s) is your favorite! ~michelle~

Have A Splashin' Great Day!

TWO more images from Inky Antic's new release! This card base is the beautifully blingy Doodlebug Glitter paper. I chose it for a wet and watery look. Image is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I doodled around the edge of the image. A gem dresses up a simple circle punched from the WeR Memory Keepers Designer Paper.
A tip: Use a strip of cardstock slightly wider than a narrow ribbon or piece of ricrac for the fun look of a wider ribbon. An easy way to coordinate ribbons and designer papers! ~michelle~

Sketch Challenge

Using the sketch challenge that was given at The Stamp Shoppe, stamp club, I made this card for my cousin's birthday. Having the layout already done for me, all I had to do was pick out the paper and the stamps. I used the turtle from Whippersnapper, separating the saying from the turtle. After I colored the image with Copic markers, I added some "Scattered Straw" Distress stickles to the turtle shell. I love the colors in the Distress stickles, and the glitter is a little chunkier, giving it more punch!! Papers are from Bo Bunny and the ovals were cut with the long oval nestabilities. Finishing the card with a little bling and colorful ribbon...It's already to pop in the mail! Come in and see displayed what other members did with this sketch - Then create your own!

Tip: Use a folded circle punched piece and a staple for a fun ribbon embellishment!
